Hi, I'm Max Petrosky, a freelance photographer specializing in photojournalism, weddings, and portraits in Columbus, OH.

I learned almost everything I know about photography at Penn State's award-winning student newspaper, The Daily Collegian, thanks in large part to my "tough, but fair" mentor Pat Little. My work has been published on ESPN.com, USA TODAY and The Atlantic. I've freelanced for The Boston Globe, The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, The Harrisburg Patriot-News (PennLive), MLive, The Centre Daily Times, The Columbus Dispatch, The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Cedar Rapids Gazette, The Incline, The Pittsburgh Catholic and The Hechinger Report.

While I've taken portraits for most of my career, I started photographing weddings in 2018. Since then I've photographed a dozen. I draw on my photojournalism background and seek out candid moments as I would on a newspaper assignment. I'd be honored to work with you on your special day.
